Dr Khan was seconded by UNIDO to UNECA, Addis Ababa for 3 years.
Dr. Khan was responsible for several hundred Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) projects in all the 54 African countries, example: Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania, Seychelles, Mauritius, Madagascar, Nigeria, Reunion, Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Zambia, and so forth.
Projects were worth over US$ 5 billion.
